Devasthanam aims to have a strong hold on Seva Gramam

TIRUPATI: Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam aims to establish a “Seva Gramam” with the dedicated ‘sevakulu’ to render best possible services to pilgrims, said Tirumala JEO K.S. Sreenivasa Raju. During the review meeting in the chambers of chief engineer on Friday noon and the JEO reviewed in detail about the stage of works under progress in new seva building coming up behind Kalyana Vedika in Tirumala at Rs 80 crore.

The JEO reviewed on the reverse osmosis water facilities, solar power with electrical backup, CCTVs, LED screens, audio system, annaprasadam etc. need to be facilitated in the upcoming seva building with the officials concerned. The JEO also directed the garden wing chief Sri Srinivasulu to come with an action plan of green scape surrounding the new seva building. The JEO instructed PRO and head of Srivari Seva T. Ravi to ensure that sevakulu present in the required numbers all through the year and not alone during festive days by giving wide publicity on three-day, four-day and special occasion online seva also.
