Hyderabad: A city-based readymade garment trading company, Shriram Fashion Clo-thing, was fined Rs 10,000 for using India cricket captain Virat Kohli’s picture for advertising.

Osmania University law student Baglekar Akash Kumar had filed a case in this regard with the Telangana consumer disputes and redressal forum. The forum said that using pictures of celebrities for advertisement without their app-roval was an unfair tra-de practice that deceives the public at large.
