Online booking facility opens at Jogulamba temple in Alampur
Devotees can now book arjita pujas, darshan and other services online
HYDERABAD: Endowments minister A. Indrakaran Reddy on Monday launched online services of the famed Jogulamba temple in Alampur, Gadwal district. Devotees can now book arjita pujas, darshan and other services online. The minister also launched the temple’s website on the occasion.
He said that the state government has decided to extend online services at all major temples in the state in a phased manner, while Yadadri, Vemulawada and Basar are already covered.
"The prime objective of launching online services in temples is to provide better services to devotees. We have already covered 36 major temples in the state under online services," Reddy said.
Meanwhile, offline services will continue in all the temples for the benefit of those who cannot avail online services due to various reasons.
On development of Jogulamba temple, the minister said that Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao had sanctioned funds during the 2026 Krishna Pushkaralu with which many development works were undertaken.
