Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy's yatra boosts morale

Nellore: YSR Congress chief Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy’s Praja Sankalpa Yatra in Prakasam district has boosted the morale of party cadres and leaders in Prakasam district, the migration of 4 YSRC legislators to TD notwithstanding. The Yatra entered Prakasam district on February 16 at Rallapadu project in Kandukuru constituency and completed at Eupurupalem in Chirala assembly segment on Monday.
Mr Reddy participated in a programme organised to commemorate the 8th Foundation Day of YSRC at Epurupalem and cut a specially made cake after hoisting the party flag. He congratulated the party cadre and tweeted, “This day, 8 years ago, YSRC was formed to uphold value-based politics and promises of Dr YSR. We commit to the people of Andhra Pradesh to ensure their rights, and bring back Rajanna's Rajyam.”
During his yatra in Prakasam district, the YSRC president had walked 278.1 km covering 124 villages located in 19 mandals in 9 segments out of total of 12 in 22 days during his yatra. Mr Reddy’s public meetings witnessed a heavy turnout at Kandukuru, Kanigiri, Podili, Chimakurthy and Tallur among other places. People of all age groups including women and children vied with each other for selfies with Jagan. He did not disappointed them.
Party leaders and cadres are in an upbeat mood following the large turnout for the walkathon almost everywhere. A senior party leader said that Jagan had taken some vital decisions to activate the party machinery in Prakasam during his walkathon. Apart from party in-charges of respective segments, Ongole MP Y.V. Subba Reddy and former minister Balineni Srinivasa Reddy were also seen following YSRC President throughout his yatra in Prakasam.
