Bhopal: Three-year-old testifies against dad for killing mom

Bhopal: A three-year-old boy on Tuesday deposed in a local court in Madhya Pradesh town against his father and four other family members in the alleged murder of his mother last year.
Hassan Tigalee, accompanied his maternal grandfather, reached the sessions court in the district headquarters town of Khandwa in police uniform and was seen staring his father, grandfather, grandmother, uncle and aunt present in the court, angrily.
All the five members of his family are facing charges of murdering his mother.
Hassan later deposed before the judge in camera after all his family members were asked to vacate the court room.
“He was upset with the police over the delay in booking the accused in the case. Hence, he wanted to go to the court in police uniform to demonstrate his annoyance with the cops”, one of the relatives told the media.
The boy was the key witness in the case, the police said.
The case is related to alleged murder of Sadia (23), a resident of Khandwa, on April 24, 2018.
Her half-burnt body was found in the bathroom of her house. She died on the spot, postmortem report had revealed.
Later, her parents accused her in-laws as well as her husband of killing her following a dispute.
Police registered a case of murder against the victim’s husband Mouiddin Tigalle, and her four other in-laws.
