The letter warned the MLA to stop illegal mining and land grabbing in Guruzala constituency. Reminding of the murder of Araku MLA Kidari Sarveswara Rao, the letter threatened a repeat of the incident.
The letter also warned the MLA to allot houses to genuine beneficiaries of the government housing scheme. Reacting to the letter, Gurazala DSP K. Srihari said that the police conducted a thorough probe and prima facie, it appeared to be a fake.
Meanwhile, Mr Srinivasa Rao said that some miscreants had created the fake letter as they were unable to digest the development work carried out by the TD government.
He said that he was not scared of fake letters or baseless allegations and would continue to remain active in politics. He also denied any illegal activities.
