Hyderabad: Students stir against fund misuse

Students alleged that their funds and fees are being misused and want to file an RTI.

Engineering students from the sate not only have to face a lack of skill education at private engineering colleges but later have to encounter the economic fluctuations that make it hard for them to find employment opportunities.

Hyderabad: Students of the National Institute of Tourism and Hospitality Management (NITHM) Gachibowli continued to boycott classes on the second day of their protest on Thursday. Students alleged that they are being threatened of being chraged with police cases if they continue the protests. Students alleged that their funds and fees are being misused and want to file an RTI. 

One of the students under the condition of anonymity told the newspaper, “The students are still being suppressed and are being treated very badly. In spite of all the agitation and protest, nobody is even bothering to come and address the issue. We are facing many difficulties in our campus and with academics. When tried to communicate the same with the director, we are being ridiculed by the authorities.”

The foremost issue that all students are troubled by is the examination internal assessment pattern that was changed all of the sudden with out proper consent from students and the affiliated university, JNTUH.
