Mr Ramakrishnudu alleged, CBI and ED had already filed chargesheet against Aurobindo directors for money laundering in 2013.

Hyderabad: AP finance minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu has demanded CBI and Enforcement Directorate probe into the alleged misdemeanours of the offshore company ‘Orange Glow Limited’ of P.V. Rama Prasad Reddy who is also non-executive director of Aurobindo. He alleged that Mr Rama Prasad is a co-brother of YSR Congress president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy’s auditor V. Vijay Sai Reddy.

Mr Ramakrishnudu said, “Rama Prasad Reddy’s name has come out in Panama Papers. ED and CBI have to take note of Panama Papers findings in their cases.” However, according to ICIJ database, the name was sourced in 2013 in offshore leaks for having a company in British Virgin Islands and not in the Panama Papers.

Mr Ramakrishnudu alleged, “CBI and ED had already filed chargesheet against Aurobindo directors for money laundering in 2013. While YSR was the Chief Minister, they floated companies in BVI, Mauritius, Luxembourg and the same was mentioned in the chargesheet. The chargesheet has been filed against Jagan Mohan Reddy, Vijay Sai Reddy and Aurobindo representatives in quid pro quo cases.”

Regarding Heritage director Motaparti Siva Rama Prasad, the AP finance minister said, “Though Heritage president Sambasiva Rao has clarified there is no financial link between Motaparti and Heritage, and there are no shares. Jagan-owned media has been distorting facts and spreading false information against Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu.
