Chennai: Fear of SSLC results drives girl to end life

Chennai: A 15-year-old girl who had completed her SSLC examination this March had committed suicide by holding to a live EB wire in Medavakkam on Thursday evening.
The victim was identified as P Anbukarasi of Nehru Street. She, according to the police, on Thursday went to the house of her friend Soundarya in Ramaiah Nagar.
Both were talking, sitting on the terrace of the house. At that time Anbukarasi reportedly shared her worries about the possibility of her not getting through the class X examination.
Class X results are expected on May 19. Her friend consoled her saying not to worry about it now.
When both were coming down from the terrace Anbukarai suddenly grabbed the near by live wire and got electrocuted, police said. She died on her way to hospital.
