Telanganga: Eamcet wasn't tough, but for physics
The results are expected to be declared on May 22.
Hyderabad: Eamcet candidates who took the engineering stream test on Friday morning said the question paper was not tough.
Students who appeared for the agriculture and pharmacy stream in the evening said their biology and chemistry papers were easy but physics was tough. No questions were out of syllabus according to the students.
The results are expected to be declared on May 22.
Ms K Aishwarya, 18, who took her Eamcet for the second time after taking a long-term coaching course, said “I am writing a second time as my rank last year was around 2,000. I am expecting a rank within 1,000’’.
Ms M. Nithisha, a BPC student, “Since we don’t have any negative marking I made a few guesses in the physics. Com-pared to Neet, Eamcet is always better as we get ample time and there are no negative marks.” However, Eamcet does not cover MBBS admissions.
The Eamcet conducted by the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological Univer-sity Hyderabad for the Telanganga State Coun-cil of Higher Education went off flawlessly on Friday.
The test was conducted in 27 cities and towns including with 246 test centres for engineering and 154 for agricultural and pharmacy in TS and Andhra Pradesh.
