BENGALURU: Voters at Rajarajeshwari Nagar constituency were visibly upset on Saturday as they could not exercise their franchise like rest of the city residents. The constituency is known as elitist and home to many celebrities.

The election to Rajarajeshwaringar was put off to May 28 by the EC  following the involvement of Congress MLA and candidate Muniratna in the infamous Electoral Photo Identity Card scam. What was disappointing for the electorate is that they could not take part in the electoral process. The deferring of the polls has come as a shocker as it was announced a few hours before the commencement of the polls.
