Hyderabad: The National Investigation Agency has got the custody of two ISIS men, who were arrested on June 29, extended for eight more days. NIA officials had filed a petition seeking extension of the custody of Yazdani brothers, Mohammed Ilyas Yazdani and Moham-med Ibrahim Yazdani, for further probe.

Meanwhile, the other three suspects were sent to judicial custody till July 26. The NIA had taken all the five suspects into custody on July 1 and they were produced in court on Tuesday as per the order.

NIA argued in its petition that the two Yazdani brothers should be questioned further to retrieve information about the procurement of weapons. The defence counsel argued against it stating that the NIA had already questioned them for 12 days.

Later, on Tuesday the judge granted extension of custody on condition that third degree methods will not be used for grilling.

After arresting the five suspects NIA had recovered two semi-automatic pistols and ammunition, an air gun with telescopic sight, target boards, a large number of digital gadgets including six laptops, about 40 mobile phones and 32 SIM cards from the suspects.
