Police to comb Dileep's Kochi assets
The probe team sought details of Dileep, his former wife Manju Warrier and the actress involved in the case.
Kochi: The police as part of probe into the actor assault case has sought report from district registrars on properties owned by actor Dileep, his former wife Manju Warrier and the victim actress in the case. As per a report given by the Ernakulam district registrar, Dileep owns or co-owns 35 odd properties in Kochi city alone. The registrar reported the land deals happened over the last 10 years.
The probe team sought details of Dileep, his former wife Manju Warrier and the actress involved in the case. There were reports that personal rivalry as well as property dispute led to the assault on the actress. The police, in its remand report, had mentioned that the actor shouted at the actress during a public event while other film stars were present. As per the report Dileep owns land and flats at Aluva, Edappally, Chengamanad and Maradu.
