Hyderabad: GHMC late on Wednesday night filled the potholes in KPHB colony and Balajinagar division with gravel and concrete after the Congress leaders planted placards carrying signages of minister of IT K.T. Rama Rao and Kukatpally MLA Madhavaram Krishna Rao in the potholes.

Kukatpally Congress leader S. Satish Reddy who led the stunt said,  “GHMC says that due to lack of No Objection Certificate from the water works, there is delay in laying the road. When we contacted the water works they said there was no delay and this had been the case for the past three months. As a knee-jerk reaction to our protest, concrete is being filled in the pot holes and officials promised that within 15 days the road will be laid.” He urged the government to provide better roads and sewerage facilities before raising the hopes of the citizens.
