MIM to propose 4 districts from Hyderabad, RR
Sources said the MIM will propose Hyderabad, Secunderabad, Vikarabad and Ranga Reddy districts.
Hyderabad: The consultation process for carving out new districts in TS began on Friday. A Cabinet subcommittee, set up for creation of new district and headed by Deputy Chief Minister Mohd Mahmood Ali, met public and employees’ representatives of Medak, Adilabad and Nizamabad districts at MCRHRD Institute here and sought their opinions.
TRS MP K. Kavitha, who led a delegatoin from Nizamabad, said they suggested four Assembly constituencies for Kamareddy district and five for Nizamabad.
The MIM, which will attend the meeting on Saturday, is proposing creation of three or four districts from the existing Hyderabad and Ranga Reddy districts.
Sources said the MIM will propose Hyderabad, Secunderabad, Vikarabad and Ranga Reddy districts. “We will submit a detailed report to the cabinet subcommittee. We will propose three or four districts tomorrow,” a top source in MIM said.
