18-year-old girl goes missing, search on

Hyderabad: An 18-year-old girl was reported missing by her family in Chilkalguda on Sunday. She was last seen on Saturday night, said her grandmother who approached the police and gave them a mobile number of a person with whom she would often talk. 

A complaint was received by the Chilkalguda police from Mahbooba Begum, 60, a housewife from Kindibasthi of Chilkalguda, who stated that her granddaughter, Saniya, 18, has been residing with her after her daughter's demise. 

“On Sunday morning, Saniya was not seen in the house and Mahbooba started searching and asking people about her, but in vain. Following this, she approached the cops and registered a missing case,” said the police inspector of Chilkalguda, A.C. Balagangi Reddy.
