Hyderabad: A question mark prevails over the degree supplementary exams from October 15. The Private Degree Colleges Association has declared a flash strike demanding release of Rs 200 crore fee reimbursement dues. Dxams will be held in nearly 350 centres of which private colleges constitute eight per cent.
Association general secretary Vijay Bhaskar Reddy said the vice-chancellors of Osmania and Kakatiya varsities had been informed about the decision to boycott supplementary exams.
OU vice-chancellor Prof. S. Ramachandram said clarity was likely to emerge by Thursday. “Officials are examining whether exams can be held in government colleges and whether students would be put to inconvenience,” he said.
