Hyderabad: Techies residing in and around Camelot Layout, Kondapur, are being haunted by the bad conditions of the road. They have requested the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) to fix the road. The area near HDFC Bank near the Botanical garden road is densely populated with employees from the IT sector.  IT employee Mr Gaurav Gupta who relocated to Hyderabad three years ago and is a frequent commuter said, “It is a kind of apathy that only the left side of the road gets repaired provisionally. How-ever, now the road is converted to stones. When it rains, the sewer pipeline flow makes it even more chaotic.”

“For Global Entrepreneur Summit they are repairing main roads. It would be better if they repair the frequently used internal roads in residential areas,” said another techie. When contacted, the GHMC officials stated that the proposal to lay the road in the area is already sanctioned and the tender process is in progress.
