Hyderabad: Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao on Monday showered praise on Ibrahimpur village in Siddipet constituency for becoming the ‘first cashless transaction village’ in the state. He said the same spirit should continue and Telangana should become a cashless transactions state in the near future.

The Chief Minister on Monday held a review meeting of the strategy to be framed in the backdrop of demonetisation. Mr Rao said that actions like demonetisation were taken by the Centre and the state has no role to play, but its adverse impact is felt on the state and its people.
