Avinash Mohanty takes charge as Cyberabad CP
Hyderabad: Avinash Mohanty took charge as the new commissioner of Cyberabad Police, relieving Stephen Raveendra of the charge, on Wednesday.
“The Cyberabad commissionerate has a large population with more establishments. As a commissioner, my top priority will be to maintain law and order situation to ensure peace and a crime-free commissionerate,” Mohanty said.
“As a police commissioner my duty is to uphold absolute rule of law and quickly resolve the public issues. We will be using full resources, like material resources, vehicles and manpower, for the security and safety of the public,” Mohanty said.
“We will focus on drug peddling, women’s safety, cybercrime, traffic and other crimes like property offences,” he said.
