Rajahmundry: Voters told to check list for their names

Rajahmundry: Rampachodavaram Integrated Tribal Development Agency project officer and Rajahmundry Parliamentary segment returning officer Nishanth Kumar called upon the voters to check their names in electoral rolls and enroll if they fail to find their names by March 15.

In a release issued here on Wednesday, the returning officer asked the voters to find out their names in electoral list by using various means like software applications or toll free No. 1950 so that they could get sufficient time to register again in the electoral rolls in case their names found missing for varied reasons.

In the release he called upon the representatives from the political parties and the contestants to strictly comply with the model code of conduct while taking up electioneering.

The returning officer advised the people not to develop mis-apprehensions on functioning of EVMs while exercising their vote during the elections scheduled to be held on April 11.
