Sabita Indra Reddy meets K Chandrasekhar Rao, wants Chevella Lok Sabha seat for son
Sources in the TRS said that the Chief Minister had a detailed chat with Sabita and her sons about their political career.
Hyderabad: Ending all speculations, former minister and Congress MLA Ms. Sabita Indra Reddy met Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao along with her three sons at Pragathi Bhavan on Wednesday.
There has been intense speculation within the Congress over past several days that she was set to leave the party and join the Telangana Rashtra Samiti.
Sources in the TRS said that the Chief Minister had a detailed chat with Ms. Sabita and her sons about their political career.
It may mentioned here that Ms. Sabita wants the Chevella Lok Sabha seat for her elder son Karthik Reddy. There are also speculations that the CM offered a berth in his Cabinet.
Last Sunday, Ms. Sabitha had met Mr K.T. Rama Rao and Ms. K Kavitha at the residence of MIM chief Mr. Asaduddin Owaisi.
After Wednesday’s meeting, Mr. Karthik Reddy told the media that they had a detailed talk with the CM and they would soon make a formal announcement of joining the Telangana Rashtra Samiti.
