Rebel storm in teacup
Mr. Madhu seems to have realized that it is better to be a loyal party worker than a rebel.
Kochi: As the campaign for the elections gained further traction many of the threatened rebellions in the UDF is turning out to be the proverbial storm in the tea cups. The first indication of the ghar wapsi in the UDF was visible the other day when Johnny Nelloor said that all is now fine with the UDF.
Chitara Madhu, the congress leader, who threatened contest as a rebel in Chadayamangalam in protest against the denial of the seat has also decided to call it a day. After the fiery speeches Mr. Madhu seems to have realized that it is better to be a loyal party worker than a rebel. The supporters of Mr. Madhu claims that their leader has agreed to withdraw from the contest after the KPCC leadership pleaded with him. The moral of the story according to a congress leader is that no rebel in congress can sustain rebellion for more than a month.
