Activists of TD, YSRC clash in Kurnool

Kurnool: A tense situation prevailed at old town area of Kurnool city on Friday midnight after activists from TD and YSRC clashed with each other.
The reason for the flare up was reportedly the polling booth issue on Thursday when the YSRC objected to some of the supporters of TD casting votes in the name of others.
In this scuffle four persons belonging to YSRC suffered injuries. On being informed about the incident, YSRC MLA candidate Hafeez Khan reached the spot to support his party members.
He filed a complaint with one town police station demanding arrest of the accused. Khan alleged that the TD activists behaved in an unruly manner and were trying to create unrest in Kurnool city.
CI Vikrama Simha said that the clash between YSRCP and TDP was over some minor issue at a tea stall. The argument between them resulted in physical fight, he added. Based on the complaint police arrested four persons in this issue, the CI said.
