Andhra Pradesh changes syllabus for Neet
An experts committee would be appointed for this purpose, Mr Srinivas Rao said.
Vijayawada: In a sign of things to come, Andhra Pradesh has decided to change its syllabus for Neet.
AP human resources development minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao on Friday said that the state government would change the syllabus in view of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) exam being made mandatory by the Supreme Court earlier this month.
An experts committee would be appointed for this purpose, Mr Srinivas Rao said.
Participating in a review meeting with officials of higher education department, the minister said that the admissions for agriculture and veterinary courses would be finalised after discussing the issue with Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, which is expected to happen on Sunday. Minister P. Pulla Rao and several officials were present.
