Bengaluru: Two girls fail in PU, run away
Police said that the girl fled after leaving a note for her parents.
Bengaluru: Upset over failure in PU exams, two girls ran away from their homes in separate incidents in Vidyaranyapura and Kodigehalli police stations limits.
In the incident reported in Vidyaranyapura police station limits, Vasavi, a PU science student of St. Philomena College, left her house on Friday morning after she failed in Mathematics paper.
Police said that the girl fled after leaving a note for her parents. Having scored 80 in all subjects but failed in Mathematics, the note consisted of her apologies to her parents. On Friday morning, the girl reportedly left the home after her parents left for work.
“Her father, Prakash, a supervisor in a garment factory, has filed a missing person complaint. We have scoured the area for any leads and are contacting her relatives and friends, however we have not got any information about her whereabouts,” the Vidyaranyapura police added.
In another complaint filed in Kodigehalli police station, the girl student fled her house on Thursday evening, hours after the PUC results were announced. The police are yet to get any information about her.
