Hyderabad: Cab driver hits police while crossing road

Hyderabad: Yacharam assistant sub-inspector Y. Jangaiah was injured when a speeding car hit his two-wheeler under the LB Nagar police limits on Saturday evening.

Police the ASI was crossing the road at Sagar Ring Road when a cab driver, identified as Vikram, dashed his scooter for the rear. Jangaiah suffered serious head injuries.

“The driver rushed Jangaiah to hospital and admitted him, where he is undergoing treatment” said an LB Nagar police officer.

Police booked the driver under IPC Section 337 (causing hurt).
