Venkaiah Naidu to discuss Amrut with officials
The new route will benefit people living in Anna Nagar, Aminjikarai, Shenoy Nagar, Arumbakkam and Kilpauk areas of Chennai.
Chennai: Union information and broadcasting Minister M. Venkaiah Naidu who will be in Chennai on Sunday, to participate in several events, will hold discussions with the Tamil Nadu government on numerous projects including Smart Cities and Amrut (Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation).
Chief Minister Edappadi K. Palaniswami, senior ministers and top officials will be present at the meeting, at the Secretariat here. He would inaugurate the Metro Rail services from Nehru Park to Thirumangalam.
The new route will benefit people living in Anna Nagar, Aminjikarai, Shenoy Nagar, Arumbakkam and Kilpauk areas of Chennai. The line runs undergound. In addition, Mr Venkaiah is expected to hold discussions with captains of Tamil film industry, who have already placed a set of demands to the Central government, including steps to curb online piracy.
