KURNOOL: Assuring people in poll-bound Nandyal constituency of accelerated development on all fronts, the IT and panchayat raj minsiter Nara Lokesh unveiled a big picture for the youth by promising to create 2 lakh new jobs in Andhra Pardesh. He said the government has waived crop loans to the tune of Rs 25,000 crore to help farmers in the state, despite the fact that the state reeling under deficit Budget.
Participating in a series of inauguration programmes organised by the party local leadership at Kanala, Julepalli, Pasurupadu,, Gospadu villages in Nandyal constituency, Mr Lokesh assured of faster development in Nandyal, if the TD was voted to power in the bypolls. The bye-election is being held as the sitting MLA Bhuma Nagi Reddy died of cardiac arrest in March last.
He said that the government was committed to providing drinking water to every household and laying CC roads in all villages in the entire state. At Kanala village, minister Nara Lokesh and tourism minister Bhuma Akhila Priya performed Bhumi puja for development works worth Rs 6.23 crore being taken up in the village. Municipal administration minister Narayana, and industries minister Amaranath Reddy also participated in the programme.
