Bengaluru: Asked to go to work, unemployed man kills father
According to police, Mani and his son Dileep often fought over the latter\'s reluctance to go to work.
Bengaluru: A fight over a trivial issue between a 55-year-old man and his 24-year-old son turned ugly and eventually led to former’s murder in KG Halli police station limits on Saturday.
The accused, Dileep, who is unemployed, killed his father Mani at their residence in Jai Bharat Mata Layout on Saturday.
According to police, Mani and Dileep often fought over the latter's reluctance to go to work. Dileep used to while away his time by hanging around with his friends.
Mani often used to advise him to look for a job as he was grown up and they had frequent fights. On Friday evening too the duo fought over the same issue, when some of the neighbors intervened and advised Dileep to obey his father.
Around 8 am On Saturday, Dileep again picked up a fight with Mani and assaulted him with a sharp weapon on his neck and back, killing him on the spot.
K.G. Halli police was informed about the incident who rushed to the spot and arrested Dileep.
Mani's body was shifted to Ambedkar Medical Hospital for postmortem.
