Hyderabad Metro Rail to spend Rs 20 crore on road repairs

In Corridor-III, HMR will repair the Secunderabad to Begumpet stretch and Roads No. 5 and 36 of Jubilee Hills.

Hyderabad: Hyderabad Metro Rail (HMR) will spend Rs 20 crore to repair the roads that were damaged during the recent rain along all the three Metro Rail corridors in the city. HMR managing director N.V.S. Reddy visited these spots and decided to take up road repairs where the pillar and foundation works had been completed.

HMR will be repairing roads on the LB Nagar-Dilsukhnagar-Chaderghat stretch; the road from Rangmahal Junction to Nampally to  Khairatabad; and from Punjagutta to Kukatpally via SR Nagar on Corridor-I.

In Corridor-III, HMR will repair the Secunderabad to Begumpet stretch and Roads No. 5 and 36 of Jubilee Hills.

The work will be taken up in patches between Secunderabad and RTC crossraods and from Badichowdi to Pultibowli, where Metro Rail works are still going on on Corridor II.
