Woman ends life in Nelamangala

According to the police, Swathi had gone to visit her parent's house in Mysuru and returned to the city on Wednesday late night.

BENGALURU: A 24-year-old woman was found dead at her husband's house in Madanayakanahalli police limits late Wednesday.

Police said the deceased has been identified as Swathi, who got married to Chetan, an employee of a private firm, four years ago. Swathi hailed from Nanjanagoodu in Mysuru and  was living with her in-laws and husband in Kachohalli near Nelmangala. The couple had a one-and-half year old son.

According to the police, Swathi had gone to visit her parent’s house in Mysuru and returned to the city on Wednesday late night. The incident came to light around 12 midnight,  when Chetan who went to the room saw her hanging from the ceiling.

He informed his parents who in turn informed Swathi’s parents and the police. Preliminary probe reveals that it was a clear case of suicide.
