Ambedkar park plan to go to K Chandrasekhar Rao

Hyderabad: The panel headed by Deputy Chief Minister Kadiam Srihari has decided to finalise plans and designs for the 125-feet Ambedkar statue at its next meeting and show them to Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao for his final nod.

Mr Srihari chaired the meeting here on Friday to discuss the installation of the statue and smritivanam (memorial).

Officials and consultants showed designs prepared for the statue and memorial, garden and landscape, auditorium, library and meeting halls and parking spaces to Mr Kadiam Srihari, Mr N. Narasimha Reddy and a few legislators. They gave inputs that would be incorporated and be submitted by next meeting.
