BC welfare minister calls on students in hospital in Amalapuram

Kakinada: BC welfare minister Ch. Srinivasa Venu Gopalakrishna visited the Area Hospital in Amalapuram on Wednesday.

He met students of Baba Jyothirao Phule BC Hostel at Samanasa village in Amalapuram, who have been admitted to the hospital after food poisoning on Tuesday.

The minister inquired about the incident. He said Amalapuram RDO and Amalapuram DSP are inquiring into the incident. He suggested to officials that steps be taken to ensure that such incidents do not occur in future.
