Kannur: Actor and director Joy Mathew criticized the murder politics in Kannur and said that mothers should act against the gory murders in the district.

In his Facebook post as part of Mother’s Day, Joy Mathew urged mothers to kick out criminals from houses in order to make peace in Kannur. “Whoever is getting murdered, whatever politics they have, all have come from a mothers’ womb. Let the leaders advocating murder politics bark in Channel debates. Everyone knows that after the debate they have tea together before departing,” he said in the post addressing the mothers. “As Sreenivasan (actor) said, until the leaders get killed, the common man will be the scapegoat for the political murders.  No army can change the mindset of Kannur. Instead, the mothers of those criminals need to kick them out of house and that’s the only way to wipe the tears of mothers,” he added.

Joy Mathew said that he was hopeful about a new generation with knowledge, education and dreams who look at such politicians with contempt. He concluded his post by dedicating Mother’s Day to the mothers from Kannur whose children have become scapegoats in the murder politics in Kannur.
