T-advocates continued their stir on the 11th consecutive day on Tuesday, boycotting subordinate courts across the state.

Hyderabad: T-advocates continued their stir on the 11th consecutive day on Tuesday, boycotting subordinate courts across the state demanding immediate bifurcation of the common High Court at Hyderabad between AP and TS and recall of provisional allocation list of subordinate judicial officers.

Lawyers at Nampally criminal court complex in Hyderabad boycotted the court proceedings and staged a demonstration, while their colleagues in  city civil court participated in a relay hunger strike.

Lawyers at the High Court also staged a lunch-hour demonstration. Meanwhile, AP High Court Advocates Association, condemned the chaining of an advocate in judicial custody to a cot in Nandyal of Kurnool district. Association president C. Nageswara Rao said that it was an exhibition of arrogance and least regard towards the rule of law.
