Hyderabad makes cabin of Donald Trump chopper: K T Rama Rao

Hyderabad: The cabin of United States of America President Donald Trump’s helicopter is being made in Hyderabad by the manufacturers of Sikorsky S-76, in joint coordination with Tata Advance System Limited said IT minister K.T. Rama Rao on Friday.
Mr Rama Rao was addressing an Indian Air Force industry seminar.
“A lot of defence labs in India happen to be out of Hyderabad. The city also has a large number of scientific institutions for higher learning,” the minister said.
Mr Rama Rao said that when India sent the Mars Orbiter Mission (MOM), more than 30 per cent of the components were manufactured in Hyderabad.
“Also, the city has three Aerospace Parks and more airstrips. The Telangana state government is looking to create more infrastructure for Aero space institutions,” the minister said.
