Hyderabad: 56,431 students pass Inter advanced exams
37 per cent of regular students, 51.2 per cent of vocational students passed.
Hyderabad: The Board of Intermediate Education on Sunday released the results of candidates who appeared for the second year Intermediate Public Advanced Supplementary Examinations (IPASE) for both general and vocational courses.
A total of 37 per cent of regular students and 51.2 per cent of vocational students have passed the examination.
A total of 1,52,359 students have taken the supplementary examination for general courses, of which 56,431 have passed the test.
All these students are eligible for various professional courses. With the results of the supplementary examinations, the cumulative pass percentage has increased to 76.59 per cent from the earlier 64.80 pass percentage for the exams conducted in March.
There has been no significant difference in the pass percentage over the last couple of years; it has slightly decreased this time. In 2017 and 2018 the overall pass percentage was 77.64 and 78.65 percent respectively for general courses.
The marks registered of all colleges will be dispatched to the district intermediate officers and nodal officers concerned within seven days.
Meanwhile, the online memorandum of marks can also be downloaded on the official website http://bie.telangana.gov.in. For second year students, there is also a provision of recounting and supply of scanned copy cum re-verification of valued answer scripts upon the payment of prescribed fee in online mode, which is Rs 100 for recounting and Rs 600 for re-verification of answer script, for which the last date is July 20.
