Feting iconic Madras High Court structure

The High Court Registry has been making elaborate arrangements.

Chennai: Chief Justice of India, Justice Dipak Misha, Union minister for law and justice Ravi Shankar Prasad and Chief Minister Edappadi K. Palaniswami will take part in the 125th anniversary celebrations of Madras High Court Heritage Building in the court campus on Saturday.

Among others, judges of the Supreme Court Justices R. K Agarwak, R. Banumathi and Sanjay Kishan Kaul, Attorney General, K. K Venugopal, state minister for law, court and prisons C Ve Shanmugam and advocate general Vijay Narayan will join the celebrations. The High Court Registry has been making elaborate arrangements.  

CJI Justice Dipak Misha will inaugurate the renovated old light house and renovated Madras high court museum. After releasing a coffee table book Justice Dipak Misha will deliver the presidential address. Judges of Madras high court, sub-ordinate court judges, court staff and officials will also attend the programme.
