Congress meets Telangana DGP M Mahender Reddy over cases on leaders

The TPCC stated that the police had colluded with the caretaker government and was filing false cases against Congress leaders.

Hyderabad: The Congress has approached DGP M. Mahender Reddy alleging that the police was colluding with the caretaker government. TPCC leaders M. Kodanda Reddy, Sravan Dasoju, Kuna Srisailam Goud and Pavan Kumar Reddy submitted a memorandum to the DGP at his office on Friday.

The TPCC stated that the police had colluded with the caretaker government and was filing false cases against Congress leaders. Cases were filed against party leaders T. Jayaprakash Reddy for alleged hum-an trafficking, Bhupalpalli former legislator Gandra Venkataramana Reddy and his brother Bhupal for alleged illegal possession of weapons, A. Revanth Reddy in an alleged fake case regarding the Jubliee Hills Society land and Kuna Srisailam Goud in a false SC/ST atrocity case.
