Hitec City Flyover gets colourful makeover
All the footpaths will be coloured green and white, from Cyber Towers to Raheja Mind Space, while greenery will be added concurrently.
Hyderabad: The Hitec city flyover has already started to dazzle with myriad colours. Its beautification has gathered momentum ahead of the GES (Global Entrepreneurship Summit).
While French artist, Delas Delphine, will show her artwork on the four pillars of the Hitec city flyover, local artists will beautify the remaining flyover.
The painting of our national bird will commence on Tuesday night near Paradise Hotel, with the state bird on the side adjacent to Cyber Towers.
Existing murals which were set up on the flyover for the Convention of Biological Diversity (CBD) and the Conference of the Parties (COP) 11 Summit in the year 2012, will be removed and repainted, so that the entire flyover will reflect the theme of womanhood.
Artist couple, Swathi Vijay and Vijay Kumar will help with painting the rest of the flyover with the same theme. A large picture of a woman with wings and the typography ‘SUCCESS’ will be painted on one of the pillars. Ms. Swathi said, “Around 10 to 15 artists will be helping to beautify this flyover”.
