Unemployment our biggest concern: Etala Rajender

Hyderabad: Finance minister Etala Rajender on Tuesday said that unemployment was a problem being faced by all governments today and not all problems should be looked at from a political angle. Replying to the debate in the Assembly on filling up of vacant posts, he said that there were 4,41,995 posts in the state and 1,08,132 are vacant.

The minister said that the process of filling up 63,152 posts was underway and steps were being taken to fill the remaining vacancies. When a BJP MLA said that Apple Inc was looking to shift to Bengaluru, Mr Rajender said, “There is no truth that Apple will move to Bengaluru. Apple has said that it’s an honour to set up its company at Hyderabad.”
