New move likely to trigger sparks between local TD, BJP leaders.

Update: 2016-12-15 01:33 GMT
Roja, the MLA from Nagari in Chittoor district, was suspended for a year during the winter session of the AP Assembly in December last year.

Visakhapatnam: BJP’s floor leader in AP Assembly and Vizag north MLA P. Vishnu Kumar Raju, who smelt foul play in the earlier G.O. and was instrumental in the issuing of new G.O. and clarification letter on ownership of assigned lands, pointed to ‘insider trading’and demanded that the district collector order an investigation.

The new move is expected to trigger sparks betw-een the local TD leaders and the BJP MLA. “This is similar to insider trading. The associates of senior politicians after kn-owing of government pl-ans on land pooling had entered into agreements with those who are in possession of assigned lands in those areas and made advance payments. Now with very little investment even before land pooling, they tried to pocket crores of worth valuable lands within no time. Benefits of any government scheme should go to the real beneficiaries. In this case, if the clarification letter is not given, benefit would go to middlemen,” he said.
