CRPF jawan's wife still waits for promised job by Kerala government
She had also met Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan later seeking a job, but she still remains jobless.
Alappuzha: The state government is yet to give a job to the wife of a CRPF jawan from Karthikapally, who was found dead in a water tank at Naxal-affected Chhattisgarh in March last year. Mr Ramesh Chennithala, home minister in the UDF government then, had promised to give a job to Lini, 30, wife of Anil Achankunju, the deceased jawan. She had also met Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan later seeking a job, but she still remains jobless.
Linimol said she had called on Mr Ramesh Chennithala, Opposition Leader and local MLA, six times so far, but he had excused himself saying the government had changed.
There was mystery surrounding the death of Anil on March 24 as his body had decayed by the time it was brought home and his relatives had refused to accept it demanding a high-level inquiry.
