Thiruvananthapuram: Raids continue at eateries in technopark

Thiruvananthapuram: In the wake of recent reports on stomach flu cases on the Technopark campus, the special squads under the City Corporation carried out extensive raids at the eateries inside the campus on Tuesday. The squads carried out inspections at 17 food courts functioning at the buildings inside the campus and seized stale food from eight eateries.
Food courts including Rangoli, ABC Cafeteria, Passion Fruit, Harmony, SS Hospitality, Jyothis and Cake world are some of the eateries from where stale food was seized. Water samples were collected from the eateries and notices were served to the eateries for various violations. Mayor V K Prasanth, in a release issued here, said that strict action will be taken against the violators.
