JNU row: Indian Journalists Union condemns attack

The IJU condemned the manhandling of some women journalists.

Hyderabad: The Indian Journalists Union has strongly condemned the attack on journalists by lawyers at Patiala Court premises on Monday afternoon.

In a statement, president S.N. Sinha and secretary general Devulapalli Amar said that the attack was a brazen attack on the freedom of press and that the journalists were stopped from carrying out their duties. The IJU also condemned the manhandling of some women journalists.
