Telangana Budget session to start from March 10

Hyderabad: The TS Legislature Budget session will commence on March 10. According to sources, Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao discussed the issue with officials and it was tentatively decided to commence the Budget session after Shivaratri festival and Magha Amavasya.

The House will sit for 16 working days which will include Governor’s address to the joint sitting of Legislative Council and Assembly, adopting the Motion of Thanks for the Governor's address, General Budget presentation, discussion on general Budget and adopting demand-wise grants for various ministries, and finally, approval of Appropriation Bill. The session will end on March 30.
