Tirupati: Condemning the attack on CRPF jawans in Jammu and Kashmir, BJP activists burnt an effigy of terrorists along with national flag of Pakistan at Nalugu Kalla Mandapam in the city on Friday.
The agitators burnt photographs of Masood Azhar, founder of Jaish-e-Mohammad, the organisation which has owned responsibility for the attack. The agitators criticised the dastardly ambush on the jawans and called it worthy of retaliation. “The Indian Army recently proved its strength through surgical strike, destroying the terrorist training camps in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). It is now time for yet another surgical strike to destroy all such camps operated by the terrorist groups belonging to Pakistan,” said BJP spokesperson, Bhanuprakash Reddy.
BJP senior leaders Samanchi Srinivas, K. Ajay Kumar, S. Muni Subramanyam, P. Bhaskar, Vara Prasad and Gundala Gopi also appealed the government to retaliate.
