DMK requests CEO to transfer 33 police officers

Chennai: The DMK on Tuesday requested the Chief Electoral Officer Rajesh Lakhoni to transfer 33 police officiers including DSPs and assistant commissioners and remove them from election works.

Alleging that they were handpicked by the AIADMK ministers, the petitioner said they are involved in moving cash in their official vehicles and indulging in various activities for AIADMK ministers.
