No breakthrough in BJP-BDJS talks, final list soon

Kozhikode: The BJP-Bharat Dharma Jana Sena (BDJS) seat sharing talks for Malabar region failed to reach at conclusive note on Tuesday. Addressing a press conference here BJP state president Kummanam Rajasekharan has said that the final list would be announced after discussions with other political parties and groups of the alliance.

“We have discussed about the seats in which BDJS expressed their willingness to contest and the possibilities”, Kummanam Rajasekharan said. “In the coming days we would also give ear to the opinion and claims of other political parties and concerned groups”, he said, adding that the final list would be announced within few days.

However BJP sources said that the list would be announced only after the national executive meet of BJP which is scheduled to be held on March 18 and 19 at New Delhi. BDJS state president Thushar Vellappali and BJP leader MT Ramesh also was present.
